Booth Feature - Painting on Burlap

BowdrenSodusPaint1.jpg

This one-of-a-kind painting is by a local artist named Robert Bowdren, formerly of Palmyra, NY and Clifton Springs. He was commissioned by the Red Jacket Power Squadron to paint a painting as a gift to Theodore Eskild. The painting is the Sodus Bay Light House from the channel side going out into Lake Ontario from Sodus Bay.

The painting on burlap is very rare and the artist only ever did one other such painting for another member of the Power Squadron. This painting is believed to have been done in the 1969 - 1971 timeframe.

The wooden frame was made by the artist also. Approximate measurements are 2 foot high, 5 foot wide and 3-4 inches deep. It is for sale. Please contact dealer #100 at the Farmington location for details.
